ThorPlas-Blue life-time lubricated bearings provide improved reliability to users by extending equipment operating life and increasing the Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) across a wide spectrum of industrial applications. Developed as a maintenance-free solution to replace greased bronze bearings, the proprietary engineered thermoplastic bearing is capable of dynamic operating pressures up to45 MPa (6527 psi) and can easily be back fit into virtually all applications where greased bronze is currently installed. Higher pressures may be possible with Thordon Engineering review. ThorPlas-Blue grease-free bearings help reduce maintenance costs and noise levels, have equal or better operating performance over metal bearings, and are available in rod and sheet forms. ThorPlas-Blue not only has a lower density and thus less weight in comparison to metal bearings but it is also self-lubricating which means no grease or oil while eliminating bearing corrosion concerns.
